With Music Together Online, you’ll have access to the same high-quality music and movement curriculum loved by millions of families and thousands of teachers around the world—from home!
Music Together Online is an award-winning program for infants, toddlers and preschoolers—and the grownups who love them—that is designed to teach the way young children learn: through play. During each online music class, your teacher will lead music activities for the whole family to sing, play and jam along to and show you how to make everyday items like dish towels, pots and stuffed animals into musical props. Even though your teacher is on the screen, each class is designed to be an active music-making experience for little ones and their grownups. The rich music environment in class, full of opportunities for experimentation and play, will help your child grow into a confident, life-long music maker.
Our fall programming features the following, all delivered via Zoom:

It's a Package Deal!
Music Together Online is a package of online music experiences and resources that creates a comprehensive music learning program with the same high quality education for young children you expect from Music Together. Let us fill your family’s days with musical learning and fun! Mixed-age classes are appropriate for children up to kindergarten, but the entire family is welcome (and encouraged!) to participate in the musical fun.
Register with your favorite teacher! The classes are listed according to the location where they would have been held if we’d been able to hold them safely in person. We encourage you to choose a location near your home so that when we are able to return to in-person classes that you’ll be able to keep the same teacher and be with the same wonderful Music Together families. However, you are welcome to register with any teacher at any location listed. All of our teachers are engaging, dynamic and downright wonderful, in our very biased opinion!
Concerned about screen time?
So are we. We don’t want any of the children in our classes to be glued to the screen, either! Our teachers are on screen to model music making for the adults involved—for you—and our earnest hope is that you will be actively modeling music making for your children or grandchildren. There’s nothing passive about Music Together Online! It’s both active and interactive.
You face the screen and your little one faces you.
We recommend that those of you with babies and toddlers have your child face you while you face the screen. Our experience has been that when parents are actively engaged with their child in the class that the screen isn’t the focus for the littlest ones.
Here’s a comment from an anti-screen time mom who took a chance on our online classes and became a convert:
"My eighteen-month-old loves her music classes so much that I was willing to try the online version, even though I had huge reservations about exposing her to screen time, something I would never do under other circumstances. I’ve found that she’s so engaged in doing the music with me that the video is peripheral. It feels a lot like being in class in person and my daughter loves it just as much. Thank you!"
Thank you for offering Music Together Online this Spring, Summer, and now Fall. We are so pleased that we will be able to safely continue to enjoy music class from home during this upcoming fall session. We appreciate your dedication to safety and a quality musical experience. Music Together has provided consistency and connection for our family during these uncertain and difficult COVID19 times. It has been such a blessing to be able to continue in a program that we have loved for years. My two daughters are already excited to continue music class this fall and wish there wasn’t a long seven week gap between sessions. Thank you again for the continued opportunity to experience Music Together as a family.
I didn’t expect the online classes to be as participatory as our regular in-person classes, but they are! Happy surprise! You have brought us such joy this week. My daughter is already asking to do the class again.
My son was thrilled to see his teacher and to have her right here in our living room—and to get a peek at her living room! We sang and danced our way through the whole class.
This is going to work really well! Thank you and the teachers for your wonderful creativity! It will take us a little time to get used to it, but my granddaughter and I both enjoyed it very much. She said at the end of class, "I want to do another song!" which speaks loudly to her experience.
I am so relieved to have the routine of classes in our lives again and all the laughter and joy that they bring. It is something to look forward to each week and that’s something our whole family needs right now.
Yesterday, my son and I ‘attended’ the first class of the session and he loved it! Your teachers are so engaging, even over the computer. Keep it up. Your work is very valuable, especially in these tough times. Music heals the heart.
Not sure how you’ve done it but (unlike most everything else we’ve tried virtually) as soon as they hear your voice all of my kiddos relax and are eating out of the palm of your hand!
